Short N Sweet

Thank you all for being here and I appreciate your patience.
It's been some time since the last post...
I've been reworking my vision and direction for the blog. The truth is my ideas were running wild and the whole process of thinking and brainstorming led to paralysis. Posting will continue in the form series with different featured post inbetween to break it up a bit.
So please stay tuned, next scheduled post...Sept. 15 2011.

Short N Sweet. Just like Andies mints "The Gold of Chocolates".

Just a thought, 07/11/11

7Eleven could've used today to market free or 11 cent slushies today with any purchase. It's certainly scheduled to be hot enough, and i'm sure it would draw in some traffic.
(Just one of my random thoughts glad I have a home for them now.)

Do you have a heart for business?

When you see "Going out of business!" on the sign of a storefront do you think "sale!!" or do you wonder what happened and think about what they could have done different? What happens when you drive past an abandoned shopping center? Do you just glance past or do you remember what used to be or dream about it thriving again, parking lot full of life.

These questions aren't to make you feel bad in any way. Its just the kind of stuff that cruises my mind certain moments of the day. It's so much more than people spending their money on whatever. When business is taking place someones dream is leaping out of the pages of their notebook. It's their breathing business plan. A family can gain a different perspective on their options in life realizing they also can own a company. Communities are revived when empty buildings are alive again with a new flavor in town, or a business that seemed like it was on it's last leg seems like it's been recharged.

Thats why I'm here and this blog exist. I truly have a heart for business and would love to share it. I've been studying not only to become a better me, but a businessman as well. Not only for  myself but for my family, other business owners and whatever community I may find myself in at any given time. My mind is constantly exploding with ideas and I learn new concepts from others everyday. I hope to share and learn new ideas and perspective on how business can adjust to keep up with or blow past the rate of change in the business world.

So please subscribe, share ideas, be honest, keep it clean, and stay sharp there's business to be done.
